I am the Director of the Center for High-End Computing Systems  and  an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech. My research interests are in the area of high-end computing systems, focussed more specifically on fault tolerance in large-scale distributed systems, runtime systems, and frameworks for integrated emulation and simulation of computer networks.
